Heading New Online Shop Website

At Online Shop Design we strictly follow a 4 point milestone project plan that guarantees success.  We follow this process with you to ensure that you get the e-commerce website that is right for you. The main points of the development cycle are detailed below:

• Stage 1: Design Process -

  • We first of all design your website excluding e-commerce.  This ensures that we focus purely on the design of the site and that the site is 100% reflective of your business.  We also add flash and confirm the navigation of the site during this stage.  Once this process is 100% complete, we then move on to the next stage……

• Stage 2: Addition of Functionality -

  • We begin to add the e-commerce features of your site during this stage using our e-commerce in-house software.  You start to see the initial e-commerce features being added including product search, checkout and basket facilities.  We also add the main product categories to your shop, so that product can be added.  Once this is complete, we then move on to the next stage……..

• Stage 3: Product Add -

  • During this stage we add the required product to your e-commerce website using our in-house e-commerce software.  We first of all add one product and then once this is 100% right we add the rest of your offer. This stage also sees the addition of the required payment methods and by the end of this, your site is a fully functional e-commerce website.

• Stage 4: Online Marketing -

  • We start the optimisation process before the site is finished and ensure that interactive, search engine friendly RSS feeds have been installed. We also start to optimise for your main brands and best selling product as well as setting up the main reports that we use to analyse your new website.  That’s it, your site is now ready to start making you money……
